Digital Design Tools ltd provides scripting and consulting services for the Construction and Design industries, specifically targeting Vectorworks users.

SmartPaste plugin for Vectorworks was first developed in 2010 and its functionality has grown over the years to become a sophisticated Copy/Paste function that retains memory of the related class management.

SmartPaste is a tool that hepls (type = helps) the coordination between designers and other consultants who don’t use Vectorworks or for those who use a different naming system for their classes. Whenever you paste, SmartPaste allows you to view the incoming classes, sorting and renaming them to work within your existing class structure.

The Merge Memory function remembers how previously imported class structures have been organised and automatically apply those settings for future pastes.

Since acquiring SmartPaste, Digital Design Tools has developed its cross-platform compatibility for Vectorworks 2019, 2020 and 2021.
